Today we decided which groups we wanted to work in, I decided to work with Adeline because we have similar tastes in music and she over the summer she had asked some groups if it was possible that they would let us use one of their songs, so that we could make a music video for them. After listening to the bands we both decided on the one band who we both really liked and that stood out to us 'Smile Lookalive' they are and alternative pop punk band, similar to 'a day to remember', 'Blink 182' and 'All time low' and these are the bands they aspire to be like.
After listening to the bands ExtendedPlay we decided on two songs that we liked 'Casablanca was a disaster movie' and 'Against the ropes' both songs had very similar meanings. We sat down and briefly talked about things we could do for each song, for 'Against the ropes' I had an idea about it should contain your stereotypical 'nerd' who gets bullied and slowly kind of regains the power against the bullies etc.
